Just like milspec M855, these rounds use 62 grain bullets with light-amor penetrating* steel tips which are painted green for easy identification. As a result, these rounds will match ballistic tables and ballistic drop compensation (BDC) reticles commonly used with modern low power scopes. The reloadable brass casings are annealed at the neck and shoulder for added strength (useful to reloaders) while the non-corrosive Boxer primers are bordered by moisture-blocking sealant. The bullets are full metal jacket (FMJ) and possess toothed cannelures to prevent projectile setback.
PMC is a South Korean based company that sources its ammunition from plants that supply to the ROK military as well as other to other NATO countries. Their X-TAC line is highly regarded for adhering to stringent military specification while still maintaining an inexpensive price for all shooters.
*While this is not armor-penetrating ammunition by definition, some ranges will not allow these rounds to be fired indoors nor outdoors on certain steel targets.

Recently purchased some to have in case of whatever. Shot this ammo off a bench at 100, 200 and 300 hundred yards. 1 x7 1x8 1x9 barrel twists with lengths from 12 to 16 inches. very, very good accuracy. no comparison to domestic brands. Clean brass. Buying more today.

Best M855 I’ve shot

I’ve purchased dozens of cases of PMC XTAC M855 because they shoot great in both my 16” 1:7 spin carbine and my 20” 1;9 barrels. Also, they have EXCELLENT brass cases for reloading and last many reloads/firing cycles.
If you want to store these long term, they are sealed completely and should last for decades if stored in a clean sealed container.

This is the best M855 ammo I've ever bought. It's not second class or third class M855 like what Lake City is that the public can purchase. PMC sale first rate M855 to the public at a fair price and it's very clean brass.

That hurts all the AK enthusiasts who are trying to limit their spending on ammo, but we’re sure that thought never occurred to the powers that be.
But here’s the neat thing: Russia isn’t the only country that makes steel-cased magnetic 7.62x39 ammo. Azerbaijan, a country we know nothing about, is also in on that action – and here is your chance to fire their ammo.
This ammo is loaded with 124 grain FMJs. Each bullet has a normal lead core. Instead of brass, its core is jacketed in bimetal: almost 100% steel, with a wafer thin copper exterior. The bullet’s case is similarly designed without copper. Instead of brass, it’s steel.
This ammo’s bimetal jackets will attract a magnet. It is banned from many ranges for that reason. This ammo’s cases are not reloadable. AKs are famous for liking steel cases, however, so there’s no great disadvantage to them if don’t handload.
