Hailed as an incredibly effective means for all-distance hunting, the ELD-X makes short work of a far away target thanks to its ability to expand tremendously while retaining up to 90 percent of its weight for assured deep penetration. It’s efficacious at taking down nearer game thanks to its InterLock ring, which fights high velocity impact to ensure that it retains no less than half of its weight.
The ELD-X boasts the superior accuracy needed to hunt distant bucks as well. Its boat tail design and secant ogive profile both contribute to its high ballistic coefficient, and the latter additionally grants the bullet a lesser bearing surface. The ELD-X’s AMP jacket lends its great concentricity to the creation a flat trajectory, and its Heat Shield tip will not lose its pointed symmetry in response to aerodynamic heating. This round’s bullet is complemented splendidly by its high quality brass casing, consistent propellant’s performance, and sensitive primer. You’ll be pleased to have a whole case of this exciting ammo poised and ready to go for your upcoming hunts! -

The FTX’s ballistic coefficient is stellar thanks to its pointed elastomer tip and its secant ogive projectile, so it delivers the accuracy and flat trajectory you need to take your game from afar. The bullet’s tip wedges deep within its high antimony lead core upon impact, initiating rapid expansion which is controlled by the bullet’s specially engineered jacket. This bullet’s InterLock ring soundly locks the core and jacket together during penetration, assuring weight retention that permits the FTX deliver up to 40 percent greater energy than a traditional flat point bullet could provide.
This round’s Flex Tip makes it ideal for use in lever action rifles, as it virtually eliminates the chance of a dangerous magazine misfire occuring. Its bullet’s enhanced ability to maintain its velocity over longer distances compensates well for its relatively heavy weight, making this a worthy hunting cartridge. Thanks to Hornady’s scrutinous quality assurance program you may take heart that each of these 200 cartridges will behave exactly like its brothers. -

Winchester 5.56x45 62 Grain FMJ M855 – 800 Rounds

Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Winchester Condition New Bullet Weight 62 Grain Bullet Type Penetrator Use Type home defense, plinking at the range Casing Type Brass Quantity 800 Ammo Caliber 5.56x45mm Manufacturer SKU WM855200 Primer Type Boxer Magnetic Yes UPC Barcode 20892228658 Cost Per Round 50.6¢ per round Plenty of folks love 5.56x45 M855 ammunition for everyday target shooting and plinking. So long as your range permits ammo that attracts a magnet, Winchester’s American-made M855 loads are poised to treat you famously. But if you’d like range ammo that can also tackle threats which are armored or shielded by light barriers, then M855 will fit the ticket!
This cartridge’s 62 grain bullet is a regular FMJ on the outside. Its core is made of two components: a lead rear, and a hard steel front. Its rigid meplat enables the M855 bullet to pierce a steel plate much more effectively than a standard lead core M193 bullet could have, and it also promotes deeper penetration of soft tissue.
This round’s bullet weighs a little more than average. The best AR-15 barrel twist for a 62 grain projectile is 1:9 or 1:8. A 1:7 twist is good for all but long-distance shooting, but a 1:12 twist is going to give you problems.
Winchester loads these rounds’ magnetic projectiles in new brass. The cases are a little dark around their shoulders – this doesn’t mean they have been previously fired, but rather that they have been annealed for greater durability. Once these rounds’ non-corrosive Boxers are all spent up, go right on ahead and reload them! -

Ammo was nicely boxed and performed great.
-
It was low priced. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was boxed well in 20 round boxes and it looked great. Performed well too, just as all remington ammo has in the past. I like the brass, its a little heavier than other makes and reloads well.

I was looking for better accuracy than I'd found with _ _ _ _ M193 type ammo and reviews indicated the PMC was the answer. Bought a case to function test a new M-4(gery) for another shooter. This ammo is topnotch-more accurate than the carbine's owner can utilize. I just wish I'd bought two cases and kept one.

200 Rounds Fired So Far: 0 Complaints

The ammo came in a convenient packaging of 20 rd boxes. Convenient to load two mags of 10 rd each (in the pathetic state of CT, that's all we're allowed). No issues with the firing or ejection. Tight grouping at 25 yards after sighting in. Haven't tried 100 yards yet. No complaints

PMC Bronze is great ammo. Im on my fourth case right now, and I love it. Zero failures. With my Daniel Defense 16" Carbine and an ACOG I was effortlessly hitting 24" square steel at 500yds with 55gr! I prefer it to other ammo as most other brand 5.56 has the dirty looking annealing burn marks on the neck of the cartridge, but PMC takes the time to polish that off. It doesnt affect function of course, but it is a really nice touch. Quality ammo, buy with confidence.

Beware of a reloader
-
CCI makes great products and it is difficult to believe some 'beancounter' figured they'd save 1/10 penny per load. Large pistol primers have worked for over a hundred years, if one attempts to reload this case in a conventional Large pistol priming system there will be a MAJOR problem.....

Ammo didn't appear to be factory new
-
When I received the 1,000 rounds that I'd ordered, many of the rounds had spots on them which made it appear that they'd been sitting around for quite some time in a high humidity environment. The box was severely damaged in shipping, not the fault of Wideners, but the packaging probably could've been more sturdy. One of the bullets was actually pushed down in the casing, still fired though. For what I'd paid, I'd expected the ammo to arrive looking cleaner and newer like new factory ammo usually does. I don't know if this is how this brand of ammo (Speer Lawman) just is, or if it's because it's been stored in a humid environment, but quite a lot of the powder is not burning and my arm was covered with flakes of unburned power after firing 200 rounds of it; this usually only happens with junk ammo.

This isn’t just any Frontier ammo, though -- it is manufactured at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and is thus totally mil spec from its high quality brass casing to its clean igniting and responsive Boxer primer. Lake City is able to produce ammo at staggering capacities without compromising quality, so this round is both cost-effective and just the kind of thing you need to make groupings that are tighter than bark on a tree.
This M193 round’s 55 grain projectile is Hornady’s contribution. As such it features all the reputable manufacturer’s trademarks: an intensely uniform lead alloy core, a hard and concentric jacket that penetrates easily and enables straight flight, and the consistent weight needed for consistent performance. With 1,000 of these rounds packed in a single box, it’d take one heck of a range session to run out of ammo.Customer Reviews

Sorta happy
-
So, the price of the ammo was great, delivered ahead of time by a day but, about 1 in every 75 rounds didn’t fire. Firing pin indented the round without the round firing. Thought maybe it could be a gun issue but, both of my AR’s had the same effect. When they do fire they are very accurate but, you will need to do some serious cleaning when your done. Even my nickel plated bolts were filthy after only 90 rounds. So far I have had 6 rounds that didn’t fire and I am only about halfway through the box. Not sure if I will buy the same ones in the future.

As a result, this 1000 bulk pack of 5.56mm has a few features that you won't find in usual lots of inexpensive ammo. These XP193 rounds are great for rainy day storage, high round count classes, practice sessions, fun plinking, and building a ballistic chart close to NATO-spec M193.
Like M193, these XP193 rounds feature 55 grain bullets which are compatible with the widest range of barrel lengths and twists of AR, SCAR, ACR, and other 5.56x45mm chambered rifles. The full metal jacket boat tail (FMJ-BT) projectiles feature a toothed cannelure which prevents round setback during rough handling or repeated loading and live ejection; bullet setback can affect accuracy or even cause catastrophic firearm failure. In addition, the reloadable brass casings have a consistent coat of sealant surrounding their non-corrosive Boxer primers which prevents moisture from entering the cartridge and creating dud rounds. The casings are also annealed for added strength to prevent pressure-induced malfunctions and guarantee long brass life for reloaders.
PMC ammunition is produced in South Korea on some of the same tooling and machines used to supply NATO countries with war-fighting ammo. These bulk packs are highly regarded among American shooters for their inexpensive cost, high reliability, and adherence to M193 specification.

M193 spec 5.56 is perfect for learning the fundamentals of shooting, just like it's good for keeping your existing skills sharp. This is the same kind of ammo the Army issues for training and combat alike. The full metal jacket projectile has a solid point profile, so it will not expand while pushing against a soft medium. It will hit hard, however, and probably fragment apart following close-range impact.
This ammo is loaded with noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning spherical propellant. Red sealant protects those primers against humidity and water. This ammo is also loaded with new, never before fired reloadable brass cases. Since they’re military-grade cases, they weren’t buffed up after they were correctly annealed at the factory. The discoloration is purely cosmetic. -

As a result, these rounds will match ballistic tables and ballistic drop compensation (BDC) reticles commonly used with modern low power scopes. The reloadable brass casings are annealed at the neck and shoulder for added strength (useful to reloaders) while the non-corrosive Boxer primers are bordered by moisture-blocking sealant. The bullets are full metal jacket (FMJ) and possess toothed cannelures to prevent projectile setback.

Best M855 I’ve shot
-
I’ve purchased dozens of cases of PMC XTAC M855 because they shoot great in both my 16” 1:7 spin carbine and my 20” 1;9 barrels. Also, they have EXCELLENT brass cases for reloading and last many reloads/firing cycles.
If you want to store these long term, they are sealed completely and should last for decades if stored in a clean sealed container.
BTW, when I started buying these ~10 years ago, they $.17/rnd. Save your brass even if you don’t reload yourself.Review by Pasky2112 (Posted on 8/14/2021)

This is the best M855 ammo I've ever bought. It's not second class or third class M855 like what Lake City is that the public can purchase. PMC sale first rate M855 to the public at a fair price and it's very clean brass.

Woah! “M855?” Is that, like, the name of a robot in Star Wars or something? Good guess! But it actually designates 5.56 ammunition that is designed to penetrate light barriers more effectively than traditional lead-core M193.
This round’s 62 grain full metal jacket would look unremarkable if not for its green paint. It’s a colorful indicator that its core is made of two different metals: lead-antimony alloy in the back, and solid steel in the front. The M855 bullet’s rugged pointed steel penetrator tip is the reason why you can’t fire this ammo at certain gun ranges. It’s also why you don’t want to use it to shoot steel targets (unless your intention is to permanently damage said targets).
This ammo is loaded with fresh-cut reloadable brass cases and noncorrosive Boxer primers. It’s not military surplus. That beautiful OD green M2A1 ammo can the 1,000 rounds are packaged in? It’s never been mistreated by soldiers! -

Tela Impex 7.62x39 124 Grain FMJ – 1000 Rounds

Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Tela Ammo Condition New Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Use Type plinking at the range Casing Type Steel Quantity 1000 Ammo Caliber 7.62X39 Primer Type Berdan Magnetic Yes UPC Barcode 4760167510014 Cost Per Round 55¢ per round The government isn’t letting Russian-made ammo into the country nowadays. That hurts all the AK enthusiasts who are trying to limit their spending on ammo, but we’re sure that thought never occurred to the powers that be.
But here’s the neat thing: Russia isn’t the only country that makes steel-cased magnetic 7.62x39 ammo. Azerbaijan, a country we know nothing about, is also in on that action – and here is your chance to fire their ammo.
This ammo is loaded with 124 grain FMJs. Each bullet has a normal lead core. Instead of brass, its core is jacketed in bimetal: almost 100% steel, with a wafer thin copper exterior. The bullet’s case is similarly designed without copper. Instead of brass, it’s steel.
This ammo’s bimetal jackets will attract a magnet. It is banned from many ranges for that reason. This ammo’s cases are not reloadable. AKs are famous for liking steel cases, however, so there’s no great disadvantage to them if don’t handload. And while this ammo is loaded with Berdan primers, it is most assuredly noncorrosive.Customer Reviews

Igman doesn’t take short roads on their mission to supply dependable materiel to over 50 countries worldwide. Their brass? New and never fired before. Their primers? Equal parts dependable and noncorrosive. Their packaging? Plain 20-round cardboard boxes, ten to a sealed PVC bag. Five bags per case. WOW! -
