Forget about the 7.62x66 Krauser, 6.5x58 Schōenblatzer, and 8x53R Mïtzïpïppënkäkkër. You want hunting ammo that is American in origin (and also not completely made up). You want Armscor USA 30-06 Springfield!

This cartridge’s bullet is simple and to the point – literally. As a pointed soft point, it doesn’t rely on polymer to streamline its profile or accelerate its terminal expansion. Its lead core and gilding metal jacket supply a level trajectory and deadly mushrooming all on their own. And at 150 grains, its weight is familiar to most 30-06 marksmen, representative of higher muzzle velocity, and able to carry 1,000 ft lbs of energy well beyond 400 yards.

There is no steel in this ammo, or chemicals that turn corrosive upon ignition. It’s loaded with virgin reloadable brass, and the same kind of Boxer primers you’d find in ammunition by Federal, Remington, or any of the other better-known brands.

    Made in Montana.

Whether you're preparing for a home defense emergency or looking to do some close range hunting, this buckshot ammunition from Rio Royal will get the job done. These shells come in a bulk priced case of 250, which contains 10 boxes of 25 cartridges apiece. As 20 Gauge shotshells, this ammo features distinctive yellow hulls to prevent incorrect loading into shotguns of other types.

Each 2-3/4" shell in this case fires nine pellets of #1 buckshot at a muzzle velocity of 1,330 feet per second. Like most 20 Gauge loads, this ammo provides an excellent balance of recoil and power; however, those using lighter shotguns will still feel a considerable kick! #1 buckshot delivers plenty of penetration for both defensive and sporting use; the pellets are about 10% smaller than 00 buckshot and are actually safer to use defensively in populated areas. (Don't be confused if these shells come labeled as "three-by-three," as that simply indicates how #1 buck fits in a column within the confines of a 20 Gauge shell's hull.)

Rio Royal is a Spanish manufacturer producing shotshells in both the United States and Spain.

I’m still dialing in the load. 6.5-284 Savage 12F with 230 rounds down the tube so far. 4831SC in Peterson brass. Still seems crazy how much seating depth affects this bullet. Seems to like .10 -.20 jump. Touch the lands and the groups open up over 2”.

How do you hunt with your 308 Win rifle? By waiting for the deer to get real close and then whacking it over the head with the stock? Or by lining up a beautiful shot that hits the deer right in its ticker? If you prefer the second, non-insane way of hunting, then you’ll love this ammo by PMC!

This round features the simple yet highly effective pointed soft point projectile. Between its exposed lead core and strong copper jacket, the PSP has everything it needs to excavate the long, broad wound channel which shocks medium game into quick submission. The PSP is also an accurate bullet, with the 2,820 fps muzzle velocity (24” test barrel) and resultant 0.336 G1 ballistic coefficient it needs to resist wind deflection and cut a reasonably flat path to its target.

Whether you order this this ammo for hunting, target practice, home defense or prepping, you’re sure to appreciate PMC’s consistent quality. Precision-formed reloadable brass cases, surefire noncorrosive Boxer primers and low-fouling powder go into every one of the South Korean manufacturer’s Bronze label cartridges!

Veteran ammunition enthusiasts already know that most of the world’s steel-cased ammo originates in Russia. But Russia hasn’t monopolized the steel-cased ammo business – not by a long shot. Magtech – a subsidiary of the supermassive CBC Global Ammunition group, which is headquartered in Brazil and one of the largest ammo producers in the world – is officially in the steel-cased ammo game!

This 9mm ammo’s steel cases are zinc-plated. They’re prettier because of it, and they get a little extra protection from corrosion as well. Each steel case is fitted with a noncorrosive primer, filled with clean-burning propellant, and seated with a completely nonmagnetic projectile. (Steel cases aren’t reloadable, which does make this ammo a one-and-done kind of affair.)

That projectile is the humble full metal jacket: a bullet which can’t expand upon penetrating soft tissue, but which does feed and chamber with all due efficiency. This round’s muzzle velocity (which Magtech recorded with a 4” test barrel) is just 10 fps faster than the speed of sound. The 115 grain FMJ will issue a supersonic cracking report on ignition and conserve about 91% of its starting velocity 50 yards downrange.

Are you doggone sick and tired of spending money on brass cases that you have no intention of handloading? Do you wish a cheaper alternative were available? Then you’re in luck, because there is! STEEL!!! Glorious steel! It’s the reason why Magtech Steel label 9mm ammo is so easy on the old checking account!

Just LOOK at this ammo’s handsome steel cases. They’re light blue in color because they’re zinc-plated (a feature which prevents corrosion resulting from long-term exposure to humidity). They’re also too rigid to be handloaded, but we reckon the vast majority of shooters don’t even know what “single stage” even means.

The bulk of steel-cased ammo is loaded with bullets which also contain steel. This Brazilian-made ammo is special, because its bullets don’t contain any steel at all. They’re old-fashioned lead-core brass-jacket FMJs, and they’re perfect for punching targets at all gun ranges! (Might want to confirm your range allows steel cases before investing in this case of ammo, though.)

Good Quality, Accurate and Great Price

American Quality Ammunition is budget friendly while maintaining quality. This 6.5 creedmoor ammunition has Hornady's 140 grain hollow point boat tail bullet and Hornady Brass. (Make sure to hold on to that brass for reloading!)

I used Garmin's Xero Chronograph to test 20 rounds out of a Shaw Barrel's Excursion Hunting Rifle that has a 16" barrel and 1:8 twist. The results were an average 2387 FPS and 15.3 standard deviation.

I also tested the ammunition in a Nemo Arms Gas Gun with a Rainier Arms Ultra Match MOD2 22" barrel and 1:8 twist. These results were an average 2550 FPS and 11.8 standard deviation.

This ammunition ran great in both guns without any malfunctions. I would continue to buy this ammo for the quality, accuracy and great price.

Armscor got their humble start as a printshop and sporting goods store in Manila all the way back in 1905. In the past few decades they’ve made a big name for themself in America thanks to their Rock Island Armory 1911 pattern pistols, but their ammo has plenty of its own fans as well. Here’s your chance to load the same bullets as Armscor to make your own 223 Rem/5.56x45 ammo!

This case contains 4,000 55 grain FMJBT bullets. Each .224” diameter bullet is hardened by a gilding metal jacket for certain feeding in a semi-auto, and sports a cannelure to facilitate proper crimping. Armscor’s bullet components possess the uniform weight distribution that tight groupings can’t exist without. These bullets’ boat tails not only improve their ballistic coefficient, but also make them easier to seat in the case. Make your own M193 rounds, or get more inventive if you like. You’ll have plenty of room to experiment with 4,000 bullets for handloading!

Please note: These are bullets only, not loaded ammunition! Unless you know how to load your own ammunition, you will be unable to do anything with these bullets except regret ordering them.

    Armscor bullets are rock solid

Armscor bullets are rock solid, buying bulk from Wideners is a great way to put together affordable ammo. Been doing it for decades. I miss the old Wideners, but the new guys are doing what they still do very well.

One caveat: the bullets came in a plastic bag in a box. I removed the plastic bag and set it on a shop stool. Turns out it's not a bag, it's heavy plastic taped together. A minute or two later, I hear a waterfall... only it's not water, it's about 2000 of the 4000 bullets spilling onto the floor because the tape gave up. 8^(

M193. It’s the U.S. Armed Forces’ basic 5.56x45 cartridge for range training and combat, which they adopted for the M16 rifle in 1964. The vast majority of this American-made ammo won’t go inside M16s, though. It’s destined for good Americans’ AR-15 pistols, carbines and rifles.

The 55 grain full metal jacket is the most bare-bones bullet you can send through an AR. It’s a lead core with a sleek spitzer profile copper-zinc alloy jacket, and a cannelure around its midsection that keeps it planted right where it belongs in the case mouth. The FMJ is a capable varmint bullet, a poor choice for deer/hog hunting, and practical for defense when no better (i.e. law enforcement grade) alternative is immediately available. Target shooting is the 55gr FMJ’s true forte.

American Quality Ammunition. That’s the name of the outfit that loaded this ammunition – in Montana, specifically, with nonmagnetic (i.e. no steel core or jacket) bullets, noncorrosive Boxer primers, and new brass cases (not remanufactured). Those shells are reloadable so long as you’ve got the right bullets!

American Quality Ammunition’s commitment to saving you money extends to selling you less packaging. This is bulk ammo: 500 rounds in a plastic bag inside a single cardboard box.

That makes this 3,250 round bulk pack, consisting of ten separate 325 round bricks, ideal of long-term plinking storage, precision sight zeroing, competitive match use, and Appleseed event sponsorship. Federal Premium is an American company with a huge reputation for innovation across hunting, sporting, and defensive sections of ammunition. Their quality and consistency has been trusted for years by the U.S. public.

This .22 LR rounds use typical brass casings and lead round nose (LRN) bullets which can have an accuracy-increasing effect on match grade barrels after repeated use and minimal cleaning. The projectiles weigh in at 40 grains which is a typical heavy weight bullet used for matches due to its potential to reach farther distances and maintain a flatter relative trajectory after leaving the muzzle at 1,200 feet-per-second. Federal takes special measures to make sure that these rounds will cycle semi-automatic rifles and pistols like the Ruger 10/22 or Charger reliably.

Get ready for deer season by ordering this 200-round box of .30-06 hunting cartridges. These rounds are made specifically for whitetail, allowing you to make effective, clean shots that result in a successful deer hunting season. The 150-grain bullets use a soft point design for superior performance at the target, while the strong load results in fast, accurate, and straight shots, even at a distance.

These rounds come out of the barrel with a velocity of 2,910 feet per second and an energy of 2,820 foot pounds. Thanks to Hornady’s outstanding engineering, the rounds maintain speed and power even at a distance. When they reach 500 yards, the bullet still has a speed 1,700 feet per second and 963 foot pounds of ballistic energy.

Hornady is a great choice for all of your hunting and target shooting ammunition. This company has been serving outdoor enthusiasts since 1949, creating top-quality cartridges and reloading supplies for handguns, rifles, and shotguns.

The 243 Win caught fire as soon as it hit the deer hunting scene in the ‘50s. It remains a popular whitetail load to this day. But bullet technology has come a long way since Eisenhower was in office and Howdy Doody ruled the airwaves. Now we have the InterLock!

Hornady furnishes this American Whitetail round with a 100 grain InterLock. It is a soft point projectile, which expands when its soft lead tip presses against even softer deer meat. At low-velocity impact, the InterLock’s internally notched jacket promotes fuller and deadlier expansion.

The InterLock’s key feature isn’t visible. The interior of the bullet’s jacket protrudes into its one-piece solid lead core. The InterLock also features a cannelure closer to its tip that serves the same purpose. These features keep the bullet more intact following high-velocity impact, which helps it tunnel a hole right through Mr. Buck’s torso.

Hornady has always loaded their ammo in Grand Island, NE. That’s where this ammo got its reusable brass cases, as well as the primers and propellant it needs to hit a steady 2,960 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel.

There I was – just minding my own business, walking down the road to fetch my mail – when I was suddenly cornered by four extremely dangerous wild animals. A wild boar, its tusks still dripping with blood from his latest victim. A black bear, whose eyes made it clear it had taken human life before. A mountain lion, who growled in the same menacing pitch as a bomb dully whistling down to earth. And a moose, which looked like it hadn’t planned on being there but now relished an opportunity to trample something.

    Me.

So, what did I do? The same thing any other reasonable person would have done. I unholstered my 10mm pistol, which I had had the foresight to load with Underwood’s primo American-made backcountry defense ammunition beforehand.

I was right to choose this ammunition for defense against dangerous game. Its bullets are massive at 220 grains, and therefore gain enough momentum to blast through a big beast’s thick armor. Its bullets also have flat nose profiles: a shape which promotes deep penetration. And as hard casts, the bullets do not widen, flatten, or do anything else that could shortened the depth to which they can tunnel.

I dispatched all four beasts in just as many shots. I appreciated the ammo’s low-flash propellant as I did so, because it was dark outside, and brighter muzzle flash might have temporarily blinded me. I also appreciated its nickel-plated brass cases, which provided smooth-as-melted-butter feeding and extraction in my semi-automatic. And when I got back home, I appreciated how clean Underwood’s “Black Cherry” polymer-coated bullets had kept my trusty handgun’s bore.

Hornady Critical Defense ammunition delivers strong penetration and expansion to stop attackers quickly and remove threats to life and limb. These cartridges come in a case of 250 and fire the Flex Tip jacketed hollow point bullet. The Flex Tip has a polymer nose inserted in the expansion cavity to provide more reliable feeding and better terminal ballistics.

Each round in this case fires a 115 grain version of the Flex Tip at a muzzle velocity of 1,135 feet per second. This is a standard pressure load that works well with compact concealed carry firearms.

Hornady ammo is loaded in Grand Island, Nebraska using non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.

Cost Per Round $1.22 per round
This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Hornady is just what your next deer hunting trip calls for, because it sports a 129 grain InterLock projectile. The bullet offers more reliable terminal performance than you’ll ever see from a conventional soft point, because its tapered jacket and inner grooves work together to ensure that devastating expansion always takes place, even at lower velocities. This is a bullet that burrows deeply as well -- its solid one-piece core retains a great deal of mass and doesn’t separate like a divided core would, and its cannelure and InterLock ring secure that core and its jacket tightly together.

The InterLock boasts a very high ballistic coefficient, as its secant ogive profile minimizes the drag that it creates in flight. That translates to a very flat a trajectory, improved resistance to cross winds, and more energy to inflict on impact downrange. With Hornady’s own premium brass casing, carefully formulated and weighed propellant, and sensitive Boxer primer to complement such a fine bullet’s performance, no buck will be outside your grasp.

Attention: This ammo previously featured nickel-plated brass cases. Hornady now loads it with non-plated cases.

Hornady Critical Defense ammunition is just what you need to turn your .380 ACP handgun into a powerful tool for self-defense. Each cartridge in this case of 250 fires a 90 grain FTX jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second.

The FTX bullet is a polymer tipped design that delivers high diameter expansion while protecting against clogging. Upon striking an assailant, the tip crushes into the expansion cavity and forces the bullet material outward for maximum terminal performance. A locking ring secures the core and jacket together to reduce separation risk.

This ammo is loaded in Grand Island, Nebraska and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.

Hornady’s BLACK line of ammunition is designed to provide seamless functionality in any firearm – but this 300 AAC Blackout round’s ELD Match has a very specific application. It’s all about the accuracy, baby.

Every molecule of the ELD Match works toward creating the most consistent trajectory possible. Its polymer tip is ballsitically efficient and centered. Its secant ogive profile stirs up incredibly little drag, and its boat tail further enhances its ability to retain momentum downrange. The ELD Match’s AMP jacket and swaged lead core both ensure exceptional rotational stability. And because this round’s bullet is extremely heavy at 208 grains, it boasts the superior inertia it needs to treat wind drift like it’s nothing. The culmination of all these features? A 0.648 G1 ballistic coefficient .30 cal match grade bullet!

The ELD Match will send any varmint to an early grave, but don’t let its polymer tip fool you This bullet cannot expand, which makes its terminal ballistics more or less equivalent to those of an FMJ or HPBT. It’s not suitable for hunting whitetail, and it’s really no better for home defense than any run of the mill range load.

Hornady makes certain their customers can truly appreciate the ELD Match’s outstanding precision by loading their BLACK series ammo with premium brass, propellant and primers. Made in the Cornhusker State!

Federal loads their Tactical Law Enforcement line of shotshells for – you guessed it – law enforcement professionals. That begs the $10,000 question: Can normal Joes buy this ammo, too? Yes! No badge required if you want to order this case of cop-grade 12 Gauge slug ammo.

This shell’s one-ounce Hydra-Shok rifled* hollow point slug tears out of a 30” barrel at a rate of 1,300 fps. It will hit a 25-yard target with 1,277 ft lbs of energy, which is roughly five times the recommended minimum for personal protection. The solid lead slug’s nose cavity will supply the terminal expansion which (A) creates a more injurious wound cavity, and (B) reduces the chance of potentially dangerous over-penetration (although we cannot guarantee so powerful a projectile will not pass through a human-size target all the same).

This round excels at the FBI test protocol for self-defense ammo. When fired into bare ballistic gelatin, the slug penetrates to a depth of 14.25”, expands to a diameter of 0.981” and retains 99.59% of its weight. If the ballistic gel is shielded by heavy clothing, the slug penetrates to a depth of 15.50”, expands to a diameter of 0.924” and retains 98.95% of its weight. Even safety glass – the toughest barrier on the FBI test protocol – only causes this slug to lose 47.84% of its overall weight!

This is a low-recoil round. That will reduce the amount of muzzle rise you have to compensate for after firing each shot, so you’ll be able to direct a more rapid and accurate stream of fire at the threat. However, we cannot guarantee that low-recoil ammo will reliably cycle all semi-auto shotguns.

*Rifled slugs are designed for smoothbore barrels only.

Their modern innovations in high performance ammunition as well as their notable consistency in quality production have netted the CCI and Blazer Brass brands with contracts for law enforcement and international shooting teams.

These rounds use reloadable brass casings and 115 grain FMJ projectiles and will match the ballistics of many other popular plinking choices. 115 grains is light in the caliber and functions in a wide range of pistols while offering very manageable recoil. This 9mm Luger ammo from CCI's Blazer Brass series is an affordable choice for the range. These specs reflect a standard pressure target load that will be comfortable to shoot for longer sessions due to its moderate recoil.

CCI ammunition is loaded in Lewiston, Idaho using the company's own famously reliable non-corrosive Boxer primers. As the Blazer Brass name suggests, these rounds differ from normal Blazer ammo in that they use reloadable brass cases instead of aluminum ones.

Want to sharpen your aim, hunt wily coyote, or defend your castle? This 5.7x28mm cartridge’s 40 grain V-MAX bullet will cover all your bases, and its high quality supporting components come together let your pistol or rifle perform like clockwork.

FN tagged Hornady for this round’s bullet. The polymer tipped beauty boasts a high ballistic coefficient, so it provides the accuracy that satisfying range training and hunting both hinge on. The V-MAX’s polymer tip virtually eliminates dangerous ricochets!

The V-MAX’s tip also unleashes catastrophic terminal performance. The polymer spear rests on the jacket’s rim, and extends into the swaged lead core’s internal cavity without touching its bottom. That enables it to store up tremendous energy before transferring it to the core, causing violent fragmentation in the process.

This round’s casing is drawn and tapered to tight tolerances, so it chambers snugly, cycles with ease, and offers repeated value as a handloading component. FN’s responsive primer won’t fail your semi-auto, and their propellant clean and evenly.

Is this your first time visiting Wideners.com? Then we’d like to welcome you with open arms to our most excellent deal on low-velocity 9mm ammunition. Whether you’re trying to avoid recoil and loud noise to the greatest degrees possible – or see how well your suppressor can serve its only God-given purpose – you’ll love what Igman has cooked up for you!

There’s no juju at play here. This round reduces noise signature by virtue of its 147 grain projectile, which is too massive to accelerate faster than the speed of sound. That preempts the creation of a jarring shockwave. You’ll hear the difference. You’ll feel it in your palms as well, because this round’s sub-Mach I 850 fps muzzle velocity generates little recoil too boot.

Igman is located in Bosnia and Herzegovina (a single country which has not one but two names). They have been in operation since 1950, and now runs a 170k+ sq ft production facility which makes military-grade ammunition for export to over 50 countries nationwide. Ours is one of them, which is why you now have the opportunity to shoot targets with Igman’s newly brass-cased, noncorrosive, and nonmagnetic ammunition for yourself!

These cartridges come in a case of 100 (containing 10 boxes of 10 rounds each) and fire a heavy 250 grain match bullet at 2,878 feet per second. The bullets are boat tailed for enhanced resistance to crosswinds and more predictable trajectories.

This ammunition is made in the Czech Republic and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.

The 380 ACP is not an especially powerful cartridge, but this Russian-made ammunition by Tula is poised to save you money through the power of steel cases. Unlike your usual steel-cased fare, this ammo’s bullets are completely nonmagnetic!

Tula’s steel cases make their ammo more affordable by significantly reducing the amount of copper you would have had to invest in by purchasing brass. Tula’s steel cases feature exterior zinc plating to protect against rust, and their non-corrosive Berdan primers will similarly prevent rust from gathering inside your action and barrel. Just take care that steel cases are impossible to reload – especially when they are Berdan-primed.

This cartridge’s 95 grain FMJ bullet is nothing too fancy. It will not expand if it hits soft tissue, so it’s best fired on the range where the targets pose no threat to you. This particular ammo’s bullets are range-friendly because they lack any steel. A lead core and a solid brass jacket cannot draw a magnet, so you can still fire steel-cased ammo without breaking certain ranges’ ammo policies! Twenty boxes to a case.

Please note: If you touch a magnet to this cartridge, the magnet will pick it up. This is because it has a steel case. But if you pull the bullet out, you will see that it cannot attract a magnet on its own.

Cost Per Round 50¢ per round
When a 5.56x45 cartridge’s bullet is able to attract a magnet, that usually means it’s a cheapie from Russia. But that’s not the case with Winchester’s American-made 5.56x45 M855 ammo. This round’s bullet features a partial steel core, which enables it to reliably pass through sheet metal at ranges within 650 yards!

This round’s bullet weighs in at 62 grains, which is heavier than average for a 5.56 load. The bullet’s superior momentum confers a flatter trajectory, which is also better protected against the straying effects of crosswinds. An AR-15 or other rifle with a 1:9 or 1:8 rate of twist is ideal for a 62 grain load like this, but a faster twist won’t keep you from hitting your targets by any means.

This military-grade ammo is loaded with low-residue powder and non-corrosive Boxer primers, as well as newly produced brass cases. The reloadable brass cases weren’t polished before they were shipping out, which is why you can plainly see where they were heat-treated.

Federal American Eagle is one of the most relied upon brands in America. As a cheaper, but very reliable option to more expensive ammunition, Federal American Eagle beats many other brands in quality and price.

These reliable 9mm full metal jacket flat nose rounds are great for range training. In fact they are so good, several ranges actually sell them on site. Why do they do this? Because these bullets share a similar affect with wadcutter rounds, making a round hole on impact instead of the normal frayed hole, in order to help with scoring. Flying out of the muzzle at 1000 feet per second, you are sure to punch out the bull's eye with these reliable rounds. Don't miss out on this fantastic deal on 1000 rounds!

When we first heard that Sterling Steel ammunition is made in Turkey, we thought to ourselves “What? As in the Thanksgiving-type bird?” Then we consulted a globe, and realized just how silly we are (very).

You too would be very silly to not recognize what makes Sterling Steel ammo so affordable: steel. This ammo lets you skip paying for brass cases altogether. Sure, steel cases may not be reloadable. Sure, they may also result in more fouling within the action. But you can pick them up with a magnet, so at least there’s that.

You could also pick this ammo’s FMJs up with a magnet. They are bimetal jacketed, which means they’re persona non grata at ranges which disallow magnetic bullets.

Notice how this ammo is nicely packaged as opposed to sealed inside a Soviet military surplus ammo can. That’s clear indication that it’s noncorrosive (that, plus the Soviets didn’t really dabble in the production of 9mm Luger). This ammo is also loaded within SAAMI specifications for standard pressure 9mm. In other words, it ain’t +P.

This 308 Win cartridge features Hornady’s own ELD Match: a projectile engineered exclusively to turn your rifle into the definitive tack driving machine!

The 168 grain ELD Match’s G1 ballistic coefficient is a lofty 0.523 (0.263 G7) for a number of reasons. Its boat tail base reduces the amount of turbulence it leaves behind in flight. Its Heat Shield polymer tip’s DVRT flat meplat remains in the shape which reduces dispersion best regardless of how hot it gets in flight. Its secant ogive geometry only creates very little drag as it whizzes downrange. The ELD Match has heightened rotational stability as well, as its swaged core exhibits highly uniform weight distribution, and its Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket has virtually zero runout or variation in its concentricity.

This is a BLACK round, so you needn’t consider your firearm’s characteristics before investing in it. A BLACK round is designed to perform equally well in essentially any weapon that can hold it. From its factory-fresh brass case to its sensitive Boxer primer to its clean-burning propellant, this cartridge’s other components are all examples of Hornady’s fine engineering.

It wasn’t enough for Hornady to merely introduce the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge to the world in 2007 -- the Nebraskan manufacturer would also see to it that theirs would be without peer. They’ve arguably accomplished that feat with this round, which is crowned with a 140 grain ELD Match projectile. The ELD Match’s accuracy is simply astounding thanks to a number of its features, including its Heat Shield tip which resists aerodynamic heating so that it may always keep its perfect shape. This bullet’s ballistic coefficient is heightened substantially by its boat tail design, and its ability to find its target is further strengthened both by its streamlined secant ogive profile and concentric AMP jacket. It’s a fine choice for hunting and competitive shooting alike, making this round a truly versatile investment.

This round’s new production brass casing boasts extremely uniform wall thickness and concentricity, so it delivers reliable performance both inside and out of a rifle. Its clean burning propellant and non-corrosive primer further assure that your action’s and bore’s lifespans won’t be shortened by caustic residues.

These Custom Competition bullets from Nosler are perfect for brass cases that you intend to take to the gun range. Poongsan is a large scale manufacturer that produces its own primers, propellant, and brass in-house to maintain strong quality control while keeping prices down. Great product, but packing was not so great

Everything with the bullets have been great. Only complaint I had was the packing and shipping. I ordered 5000 bullets but not totally sure I even got them all because the box inside the shipping box was open and bullets where leaking outside them shipping box when it arrived. Nothing to complain about the actual product though.

Review by Jason (Posted on 11/25/2024)

    FMJ or FMJBT?

From my experience, these are FMJ's not FMJBT.

Boat-tails have a pronounced taper, these do not and that makes them harder to seat straight. I have to bell the case mouth more to get them to press in straight and that beats up my brass more.

    great ammo

This ammo fires great in rugged sr1911, springfield xds and 1911g desert eagle, also the brass is about as good as you can get for reloading.

    Great ammo

No issues with first 150 rounds. Was going to buy brass for reloading, but 1000 pieces was 2/3 the price of these new rounds. Accurate enough for soda cans at 25 yards, just great practice ammunition.

This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Hornady features its manufacturer’s own 143 grain ELD-X projectile. Hailed as an incredibly effective means for all-distance hunting, the ELD-X makes short work of a far away target thanks to its ability to expand tremendously while retaining up to 90 percent of its weight for assured deep penetration. It’s efficacious at taking down nearer game thanks to its InterLock ring, which fights high velocity impact to ensure that it retains no less than half of its weight.

The ELD-X boasts the superior accuracy needed to hunt distant bucks as well. Its boat tail design and secant ogive profile both contribute to its high ballistic coefficient, and the latter additionally grants the bullet a lesser bearing surface. The ELD-X’s AMP jacket lends its great concentricity to the creation a flat trajectory, and its Heat Shield tip will not lose its pointed symmetry in response to aerodynamic heating. This round’s bullet is complemented splendidly by its high quality brass casing, consistent propellant’s performance, and sensitive primer. You’ll be pleased to have a whole case of this exciting ammo poised and ready to go for your upcoming hunts!
