Berry's – one of the most respected names in American component bullets. If you’re determined to make your own 380 ammo for self-defense, you’ve just found the perfect foundation for your project!
This is Berry’s Hybrid Hollow Point. The 100 grain JHP starts out as a uniformly distributed swaged lead core, which is electroplated with copper to ensure virtually perfect jacket concentricity. Once the Hybrid HP is plated, it is restruck to ensure its dimensions meet Berry’s exacting standards. The bullet reliably retains the weight it needs to penetrate to a consistent depth of 8 to 9”, and achieves consistent expansion as well.
This bullet is 0.356” in diameter (±0.0005”) and has an overall length of 0.447". Berry’s advises that the bullet is effective following impact velocities between 875 and 975 fps. Load data for Berry’s Superior Plated Bullets are available in any manual or on any propellant manufacturer’s website.Customer Reviews

Low Recoil - Great Accuracy
-
I read a review on one of the forums where someone said they were getting 2" or less groups with this bullet at 50 yds in a 9mm Luger. I have not done that level of load testing yet, but I chose a mid-range load with a fast powder. I got excellent results in a match shooting this load on timed and rapid fire (25 yd accuracy with very low recoil). I would definitely recommend it. Looking forward to doing some 50 yd. load testing soon.
