Do you need the perfect subsonic 8.6 Blackout ammo for hunting and defense? Something that is just as lead-free as it is effective at stopping a moving target? Then thank your lucky stars that Kansas exists, because that’s where Fort Scott Munitions loaded this outstanding Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) ammunition!
This round’s Solid Copper Spun (SCS) TUI is precision machined from solid copper bar stock. “Lead fouling” isn’t in its vocabulary. “Supreme accuracy” is, however, because the sleek, heavy, and rotationally stable bullet is able to gain a 1,050 fps muzzle velocity and 0.700 G1 BC out of a 12” barrel. The 300 BLK ain’t pulling those kinds of numbers unless it’s loaded with a 220 grain match-grade HPBT and fired through a 16” barrel!
This round’s bullet isn’t just ballistically efficient enough to conserve around 93% of its muzzle energy at 100 yards. The SCS TUI also penetrates deeply thanks to its tough and jacket-free design, and inflicts massive trauma to its target by tumbling around and around after impact. That sharp tip scrapes and gouges as it spins about, delivering precisely the wound channel that makes wild game give up the chase and threats give up the attack.
