9mm is a fast and reliable caliber and although it has excellent stopping power, it also delivers manageable recoil, making it a favorite among target and competition shooters. If you go through lots of 9mm rounds, order this 3500-count box of 100 grain, enclosed full metal jacket bullets and you can reload your brass with high-quality projectiles.

The full metal jacket in these rounds is extremely reliable in autoloading handguns. They are designed to feed smoothly from the magazine to the chamber, and will give you less fouling in the barrel. Down range, they are reliable and effective, resulting in superior performance during your competitions or training.

Bullet Type Hornady Action Pistol (HAP)
    Manufacturer Hornady
    Manufacturer SKU 35528B

Hornady Action Pistol (HAP) bullets are a direct response to competitive shooters buying up XTP projectiles for their reloading needs. By comparison to XTPs, the HAP design is less expensive and not designed to expand, but retains the hollow cavity, longer body, and immaculate jacket and lead core quality that match shooters have come to appreciate. That makes these .355 inch diameter bullets a smart choice for custom handloads that will be used in IDPA, USPSA, IPSC, or just practice.

Each projectile weighs in at 115 grains and has a copper-jacketed profile that is appropriate for high-velocity loads. The sleek, slanted ogive feeds excellently while the core and jacket exhibit a high level of uniformity in their dimensions and density. This balance will contribute to more accurate loads once your cartridges are complete. Hornady has been around since 1949 and makes some of the most unique, sought-after projectiles in the United States.

In bulk (3000) the price is good for use in accuracy competitions. Wideners has had best price. Use Berry 115 HB for practice.

    WoW!

I'm an accuracy nut, an 82-year-old accuracy nut. NRA Classified Lifetime master, Aw the good old days!

After switching from 1911's to Glock for CCDW & Home defense I became obsessed with the idea of getting my Glock’s to shoot like my custom 1911 target guns.

So, to make a long story short, using the 115 gr. Hornady HAP bullets and shooting from my ransom rest at 25 yards I can now get consistent 5 shot groups less than 2 inches at 25 yards, and 10 shot groups frequently 2 inches, or less at the same distance.

They are listed as a target bullet but shooting them and FMJ bullets into soft dirt, and mud 10 to 15 yards they do expand and the size of impact holes are noticeable larger with the HAP bullet.

Reliability in feeding? I had to work with the overall length a while, but this is my 3rd case of these and have not had a single failure to function since the first 200 rounds while working out what the overall length my guns liked.

Hornady 115 gr. HAP, That’s my bullet for 9mm.

    Accurate at 1-9 twist, 20" A2, at 600 yds

I doubted this bbl would stabilize this heavy of a bullet, but I was wrong. They'll cut the X ring out at 100, stay in the X ring at 200 to 600 as well. Whether they'll handle wind as well as heavier bullets is doubt full, but for the price they do a great job. I'm running them at 2700 fps over H4895.

    Better than NATO

I've loaded and shot hundreds of these in my .308 gas guns. This is a good all around service rifle bullet. Way better than 147 gr. NATO pulls or repros in both M1a and AR 10.

Great Value - Going to Buy More

Great for practicing shooting out to 100 yards and probably beyond. When loaded precisely, neck tension, coal on ogive consistent powder charge, etc. able to shoot .75 moa with my ruger american in .308. Also great for the M1 garand, almost identical to the original bullets meant for the gun. Very consistent in weight, length, etc. Obviously not a 600 yard or hunting bullet.

These projectiles are nice and they are super friendly and helpful. I thought my order got stolen and they were willing to ship me the order again free if it had got stolen. Looking for a new loading for a new long range SDMR/SPR 20" AR I was fortunate to pick these Hornady 75gr HPBT early on. I matched them with 24gr. Varget, and 19.5gr.IMR4198. Both of these loading were VERY accurate grouping .250" to .750" at 100yards. Other powders that worked were H322, H355, 748 but the IMR4198 was best. Please use my info only as a recommendation all reloading safety should be taken and is your responsibility.

Absolutely amazing bullets. I can consistently hit chickens at 200 yds. with a 10" contender with Belm .357 Max chamber and IMR 4227! The only bullet with a 2nd crimp groove for the .357 Max!

Excellent for use on hogs and deer in carbines with heavy loads of Lil'Gun or H110.

    Excellent heavy bullet

I loaded these in new .357 magnum cases with heavy charges weighed individually. The cartridge was accurate and the recoil noticeable from my 4 inch Python. These 180 grain bullets will likely be fine for the smallish central Texas deer. The bullet might be suitable for the myriad wild hogs. I certainly recommend this bullet.

Thank you for holding the line on prices!

Everyone wants to shoot the ideal bullet but in these crazy times you may have to settle for what you can find. I've trusted Hornady for years for both hunting and target bullets in other calibers so I wasn't surprised when both my Savage and my son's Ruger rifle loved these mid-weight bullets. The fact that both Hornady and Wideners are holding the line on pricing is a real bonus!

The 55-grain bullets use a copper alloy construction, which delivers controlled expansion and weight retention. The pressure-relieving grooves reduce fouling, and the tip is colored for easy identification.

The .223 Remington is one of the best rounds for both varmint hunting and target shooting. It has an outstanding reputation for accuracy, and delivers some of the best terminal performance in the ammo industry. These rounds are very popular, and although the cartridge is relatively inexpensive, it can be costly to shoot on a regular basis. That’s why so many people choose to reload their spend .223 brass with fresh bullets like these GMX projectiles.

Hornady is one of the top names in the ammo industry. The company has been making rounds since 1949, and now creates a huge selection of ammo supplies, including reloading bullets and empty brass cases. You can also turn to Hornady for complete center and rimfire cartridges.

These bullets are engineered to provide match and competition shooters with the highest level of consistency and reliability. These projectiles feature a low drag tip and a secant ogive profile to raise the ballistic coeffieient and increase in-flight stability. Each bullet has a swaged lead core that is wrapped in Hornaday's AMP copper jacket. The results are a bullet that is extremely uniform and has near zero wall thickness variation.

    These things are Boss!

I can hardly wait to put a couple of these down range, but reloading first, shooting second and repeat. Beautiful product!

good out to at least 1000 yds

My three 50's shoot these A-maxes very consistently at 1000 yd matches. Wideners has always been a good source of 50 BMG components and they run sales on these products as well. I am a long time Wideners customer. They offer good products at good prices. They are my go to place for reloading everything.
