9mm Ammo
9mm Luger ammo has been a runaway favorite among concealed carriers and police agencies. In fact, 9x19 is one of the older handgun cartridges on the market with a history dating all the way back to the early 1900's.
The Luger round was used extensively by the Germans in the P08 and P38 handguns. In the U.S., the cartridge can be considered something of a sleeper hit in its early years, only achieving major popularity in the 1980's with the rise of CCW and semiautomatic pistols.
The 9mm Luger ammo you'll find for sale here at Widener's typically features 115, 124, or 147 grain bullets. Heavier bullets offer strong penetration but lower muzzle velocities, with the 147 grain version falling into the subsonic range. 115 or 124 grain jacketed hollow points from Speer, Federal, Winchester, and many other manufacturers produce a muzzle velocity of around 1,100 feet per second and produce relatively mild recoil while still delivering excellent terminal performance. If you like to shoot centerfire ammo in high volumes, the low cost and low recoil of the 9mm makes it your best bet! Generally, you can expect rounds loaded with full metal jacket bullets to be cheaper than the hollow point defensive counterparts with your best buy coming in bulk.
There have been many handguns chambered for the 9mm Luger, but the most popular for concealed carry today are typically compact pistols like the SIG P938, Glock 43, S&W M&P Shield, Springfield XDs, Ruger LC9, and Kahr CW9. Be sure to take a look at our in-stock 9mm ammo below.

Well, have we ever got the tip of the century for you pal – that piece of hardware is going to work a lot better once you’ve filled its magazine with ammo.
With this 9mm ammo by MAXXTech you’ll never have to say “BANG!” again! This round is loaded with its caliber’s lightest common bullet. At 115 grains it achieves a supersonic muzzle velocity out of a barrel as short as a handgun’s, which it will also spare from accelerated fouling courtesy of its gilding metal jacket. But new shooters take note: Although no one would voluntarily get shot by this round’s bullet, as an FMJ it’s not the best choice for self-defense. For target shooting and plinking it is top notch, though.
MAXXTech ammo is made in Goražde, Bosnia and Herzegovina by Pobjeda Technology. They’re a major manufacturer that adheres to C.I.P. standards (the Euro equivalent of SAAMI) and became ISO 9001 in the year 2000. Flawless logic, right there!
Remington didn’t artificially inflate this target round’s price tag by dumping a bunch of unnecessary features on it. You’ve got your 115 grain full metal jacket projectile: just a lead core and steel-free gilding metal jacket, with a round nose profile that secures reliable functionality and accuracy. That bullet is backed by temperature-stable propellant, so you can expect reasonably consistent performance whether you’re firing in a heat wave or a cold snap. And thanks to Remington’s Kleanbore primer, you can also expect … well, you can expect a pretty clean bore once target shooting has ended. Throw in a new and reloadable brass case, and you’ve got yourself a pool party. -

Federal's Hi-Shok is an older classic design that feeds well in all ages of pistol and has features which form the basis of most modern jacketed hollow-point (JHP) designs. These 115 grain Hi-Shok bullets match the weight of the most common practice rounds for the caliber so that your plinking sessions share consistent recoil and flight characteristic with this premium defense ammo. The projectiles have a narrow cavity at the tip with segments in the copper jacket leading up to it which assist in expansion even when fired at low velocities out of short-barreled carry pistols. This expansion nearly doubles the diameter of the round after impact and creates a wide wound channel for faster incapacitation which is desired for threatening situations.
These 9x19mm cartridges are assembled using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass casings. The casings are crimped firmly to the bullets' toothed cannelure which helps to prevent setback and dud rounds after repeat chambering while also maintaining consistent bullet seat and overall accuracy. Federal Premium is a well-respected name in American ammo production and offers quality products that are highly sought out by hunters, competitive shooters, law enforcement agencies, and private citizens alike.

Winchester Service Grade 9mm 115 Grain FMJ FN – 50 Rounds
$16.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Winchester Condition New Bullet Weight 115 Grain Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket Flat Nose (FMJFN) Use Type plinking at the range Casing Type Brass Quantity 50 Ammo Caliber 9mm Luger (9x19) Manufacturer SKU SG9W50 Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 20892225190 Cost Per Round 33.7¢ per round This 9mm round from Winchester’s Service Grade line of ammunition features a 115 grain projectile. That bullet weight’s utility for self-defense is strongly contested by experts in the field, and is accordingly favored by prestigious law enforcement agencies including the United States Secret Service and the Federal Air Marshals. If you also prefer a 115 grain bullet for self-defense, then training with this cost-effective and reliable ammunition is a fine way to keep your skills sharp.
This round’s full metal jacket flat nose will prevent your weapon’s bore from quickly fouling with lead residue, preserving its accuracy and lessening the need for very frequent cleanings at the range. (Range time is better spent perforating sheets of paper than it is assembling cleaning rods.) $354.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Sellier & Bellot Condition New Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Type Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Use Type home defense Casing Type Brass Quantity 1000 Ammo Caliber 9mm Luger (9x19) Manufacturer SKU SB9D Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 754908505869 Cost Per Round 35.5¢ per round This 9mm cartridge by Sellier & Bellot sports a 124 grain projectile, which is a little heavier than the bullet weight its caliber most often offers. The hollow point bullet will expand dramatically as it penetrates a target, giving this round terminal performance that’s ideal for your everyday carry. The bullet features a CuZn 10 jacket, which is even harder than pure copper so it can penetrate a variety of tough barriers. This bullet’s jacket additionally reduces bore fouling, facilitates feeding in semi-automatic weapons, and sports notches around its tip which help to control expansion during penetration.
This round further offers a brand new and reloadable brass casing, uniform and sure-fire primer, and propellant which burns clean to spare your action from undue fouling. It’s always advisable to train with the same ammo you’d implement for self-defense -- with 1,000 of these hard-hitting rounds to work with, you’ll have ample opportunity to hone your self-defense skills to near perfection. -

That FMJ bullet ensures smooth feeding into the chamber and out the ejection port, as well as less fouling in the barrel. Coming out of the muzzle, these bullets will have an energy of 326 foot pounds and a velocity of 1,000 feet per second. This speed makes the bullet a great option for target shooting and even some competition shooting. Heavy relative to many 9mm loads, the 147 grain bullet will deliver more recoil than lighter bullets but is preferred for training by many shooters who rely on 147 grain projectiles in their self-defense loads.
Federal is a top-quality ammunition manufacturer based out of Minnesota. They create some of the most reliable and effective rounds available, with options for hunters, competition shooters, and citizens concerned with self defense. This package is for a single box of their American Eagle ammo with 50 rounds inside.
The 9mm Luger has a fantastic reputation for speed and performance. It’s not only a top choice for law enforcement officials, it is also used for personal defense and target shooting. Federal Syntech Range 9mm 124 Grain Total Synthetic Jacket – 500 Rounds
$178.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Federal Condition New Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Type TSJ Use Type indoor range shooting, plinking at the range Casing Type Brass Quantity 500 Ammo Caliber 9mm Luger (9x19) Manufacturer SKU AE9SJ2 Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 50004544625762 Cost Per Round 35.8¢ per round Cleaner, safer performance. That’s what Federal’s Syntech Range ammo is all about!
This 9mm round’s pretty red bullet isn’t just a cosmetic feature. The Total Synthetic Jacket bullet is encased in a thin layer of high-tech, heavy-duty polymer that eliminates metal-on-metal contact within the barrel. Say goodbye to lead fouling and copper fouling while you’re target shooting – the TSJ reduces the need for frequent cleaning and preserves a handgun’s accuracy. The TSJ also significantly reduces friction, which measurably lengthens a barrel’s lifespan!
Because the TSJ bullet contains no copper, it greatly reduces the chance of splash-back if you’re shooting steel targets or accidentally hit a rock or concrete wall. And since its core is encapsulated by its jacket, the TSJ produces no vaporized lead when exposed to hot propellant gasses during ignition. Even Federal’s Catalyst primer is devoid of lead, making this ammo a great pick for indoor shooting where air circulation is poor.
This round’s 124 grain bullet is nonmagnetic, and its brass case is brand new and reloadable. Syntech Range ammo is also engineered to reduce felt recoil, so you can train in greater comfort while experiencing less muzzle rise. -

They don’t owe an ounce of their success to hype, however -- simply put, they’ve become a superstar because their ammo works amazingly well.
This 9mm cartridge features a 124 grain projectile, a little heavier than the Commonwealth standard. As a hollow point, this bullet will expand rapidly within soft targets in order to take them down quickly, before they’ve the opportunity to retaliate. The bullet’s hard CuZn 10 jacket not only ensures that it will feed in a semi-automatic weapon and penetrate targets reliably, but also has notches running down from its tip to control expansion. Winchester Super Suppressed 9mm 147 Grain FMJ Encapsulated – 500 Rounds

That’s why you deserve 9mm ammo which is specially designed for your suppressor, but which is also going to function correctly in all your unsuppressed firearms as well!
Winchester loads their Super Suppressed 9mm cartridge with a bulky 147 grain bullet. This round’s subsonic muzzle velocity is solely the product of its heavy bullet’s inertia – not a weaker propellant charge that could fail to cycle a semi-auto.
This round’s FMJ has a flat nose profile to help it cut a cleaner hole through paper (as well as deal greater damage to soft tissue). The bullet is encapsulated because it has a brass disc on its base to seal off its lead core. White hot ignition won’t be able to evaporate any of the lead in the bullet’s core, which means a much cleaner suppressor and barrel in the long run!
Winchester promotes even cleaner performance thanks to their low-residue primers and powder. This ammo is special, but its brass cases are Winchester’s usual good work: fit for service in all firearms and reloadable! -

Take all the time you need. Give up? The answer is 500 rounds of Blazer Brass, and delivered direct to your doorstep no less!
This right here is the pride of Idaho – a billion times better than any spud, because it’s a well-made 9mm self-defense cartridge. The same company behind Gold Dot and Lawman produced these rounds so you can confidently defend yourself against any threat.
This cartridge’s bullet is the low-recoil, high-velocity and flat-shooting 115 grain jacketed hollow point: about a quarter-ounce of lead and copper, accelerated to just a hair hotter than supersonic out of a 4” barrel. Impact with soft tissue forces the bullet to widen, exert its energy outward, inflict greater damage to surrounding flesh, and decrease the risk of over-penetration.
Blazer’s Brass line of ammunition is named after the same metal its cases are made of. Reloadable? You bet. We’ll even sell you the bullets. -

This 9mm Luger ammo is a standard pressure load delivering typical ballistics for its caliber including a muzzle velocity of 1,130 feet per second.
Unlike FMJ loads, however, this ammo fires 124 grain brass enclosed base bullets. The manufacturing process for jacketed rounds leaves one end of the lead core exposed; these projectiles have an exposed tip instead of an exposed base, preventing burning powder from contacting the core and releasing heavy metals into the air.
Winchester Winclean ammo is made in the USA and uses non-toxic, non-corrosive primers and reloadable brass.

The JSP in this particular load weighs 124 grains for a nice compromise between felt recoil, terminal performance, and flat-shooting characteristics. During entry into a threat target, or small game animal like a jackrabbit, the bullet will experience a mild degree of expansion thanks to its exposed lead nose.
This expansion is curtailed by the bullet's strong copper jacket, allowing it to penetrate deep into the vitals before passing on its momentum. The JSP's naked point is carefully rounded to match the bullet's ogive for reliable feeding in any handgun or pistol-caliber carbine. Each projectile is crimped into a reloadable brass casing that wears a non-corrosive Boxer primer at its base. This ammunition is made by Magtech, a Brazilian company with impressive experience tailoring their loads for various types of shooters around the world.

They’re the chief small arms ammo supplier to the South Korean military. They’re also a major supplier of small arms ammo to the international commercial market. When a big dog like PMC resolves to manufacture 9mm ammo in accordance with existing law enforcement protocols, you can be darn sure it’s effective at the all-important job of personal protection.
PMC’s SFX series cartridge showcases their SFHP jacketed hollow point projectile. It achieves up to 2X terminal expansion courtesy of its core and jacket’s integrated flutes and ribs. Its ogive and propellant are both engineered to promote the most reliable feeding possible in a semi-automatic handgun or carbine. And because the 124 grain SFHP has a lower muzzle velocity of 1,126 fps, you’ll have less recoil and accompanying muzzle rise to accommodate while you’re firing in defense of your life.
PMC is a subsidiary of the Poongsan Corporation. It is one of South Korea’s preeminent metal working machinery manufacturers, and the reason why PMC’s bullets and virgin brass cases are so consistently high in quality. This ammo is neither corrosive nor magnetic – but it is most certainly reloadable. -
Federal Classic Hi-Shok 9mm 115 Grain JHP - 50 Rounds
$22.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Federal Condition New Bullet Weight 115 Grain Bullet Type Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Use Type home defense Casing Type Brass Quantity 50 Ammo Caliber 9mm Luger (9x19) Manufacturer SKU 9BP Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 29465088163 Cost Per Round 45.7¢ per round Hi-Shok rounds from Federal are a classic choice for 9mm defense which will function in a wide range of firearms. Before Federal Hydrashoks and HSTs were common names in shooting circles, Hi-Shok pioneered features that are now common in all brands of high quality jacketed hollow-point (JHP) ammunition. JHP rounds are guarded in the rear to reduce lead exposure while their wide head cavities cause expansion after impact in order to create a wider wound cavity and contribute to faster incapacitation in personal defense situations. Hi-Shok JHPs are further enhanced by a pre-segmented jacket which helps the bullet to expand reliably even after low velocity contact out of short barreled pistols.
Hi-Shok cartridges also feature a positive case crimp to the toothed cannelure of the projectile. This prevents bullet setback during repeated chambering which could cause a failure-to-fire or an even more catastrophic failure. The projectiles weigh in at 115 grain and match the recoil impulse and flight characteristics of the most popular bullet profile in the 9x19mm Luger caliber. Hi-Shok rounds were designed to function reliably in pistols that may not feed with typical wide mouth hollow-points. The cartridges are assembled using reloadable brass casings and non-corrosive Boxer primers.

PMC SFX 9mm 124 Grain JHP – 50 Rounds
$24.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer PMC Condition New Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Type Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Use Type home defense Casing Type Brass Quantity 50 Ammo Caliber 9mm Luger (9x19) Manufacturer SKU 9SFX Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 741569010788 Cost Per Round 49.7¢ per round A great self-defense bullet must do two things: feed without getting stuck, and expand after striking the threat. Precision Made Cartridges (PMC) of South Korea carefully designed their SFHP projectile to do both!
This cartridge is loaded with a 124 grain SFHP. It is a jacketed hollow point with an ogive that is engineered to feed just as efficiently as a round nose FMJ. It significantly reduces the risk of a feeding jam compromising your safety while you’re firing at the threat. The SFHP additionally features integral flutes and ribs – both of which enable it to expand with relatively little force.
This round’s 1,126 fps muzzle velocity is relatively low for its bullet weight, although it still provides sufficient energy transfer for defensive applications at close range. More importantly, it will reduce muzzle rise so you have an easier time keeping your sights trained on the threat.
